Issues for Rescues to Ponder
Here in Idaho there was a big controversy about a store which has wolves (actually probably really wolf hybrids) on display in cages. During a tour, one of the "wolves" bit a 6-year old child who stuck her arm through the chain link. Personally, I detest the place and the people who own it for a lot of reasons. Yesterday, two things transpired that caused me to think about how important it is for humane and animal rescue groups to work together. First I got an email from the Humane Society of the United States about a big puppy mill rescue they worked on in Eastern Washington, which is not too far away from here.
